Quicksound is an innovation in tribal house music. They have brought the primitive power of percussions with the technology of electronic music into the foreground of House. Their productions are played by the top Progressive, Tribal and House DJs all over the world (Saeed & Palash, Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Ceballos & Chus) and have given unforgettable live performances for crowds of over 13,000 fans.

Their productions have attracted the likes of Danny Tenaglia, who featured their track (Stop Foolin’ Around) on his latest Back to Basics mixed compilation, as well as the acrobatic wonders of Cirque du Soleil, who use Quicksound’s production genius and strength to remix their performance and theme songs.

Roberto “Sam” Screnci founded Quicksound Productions in 1996. He was born on July 28th 1972 in Montreal. He studied drums in Cuba and Haiti with experts to become a complete and professional percussionist. His concept began a new wave of authentic tribal house so powerful that it has put Montreal on the map as an emerging leader in House Music. Quicksound has brought together a diverse collection of multi-cultural inspirations and combined them into a delight of power tribalism.

In 1996 Sam Screnci broke Quicksound through by obtaining a slot at the infamous AIDS Benefit, The Black and Blue Festival between Danny Tenaglia and Mark Anthony. Their mind blowing and trance provoking performance paved the way for their success in the industry as well as in the hearts of their newly acquired fans. They were requested the following year.

Quicksound has played in many cities all over the world such as New York and Casablanca and for many different events with over 20,000 people. They have played alongside Angel Moraes and Roger S. at the Miami winter Music Conference as well as Dub Tribe Sound System, Les Couch Potatoes, and Kim English as part of the Montreal Gay Pride Celebrations in 2002.

They have appeared numerous times on Musique plus, Montreal’s music video station. The diversity of their music is as diverse in its many channels such as creating music for Cirque de Soleil and for book novels. This demonstrates Quicksound’s variety of talents and creative diversity. It emphasizes Sam’s goal of bringing drums into the vanguard of the House Music movement and scene. They have played Percussions are universal musical mediums that cross all boundaries tapping into a primal need and Quicksound is doing more than a great job at fulfilling that need.
